Abraam has been coaching at IGC since 2007. He started gymnastics at age 10, and on his first day at a recreation class was invited onto the boy’s team. He loves gymnastics, especially the high bar. Abraam holds various regional and national championship titles and has been ranked within the top six nationally, finaling on floor and high bar. He has been on both the state and regional all-star teams numerous times. He enjoys sharing his enthusiasm for gymnastics with the boys. “I like having fun with the kids,” he said. “As a young boy, I didn’t believe in myself. Gymnastics changed my life. It gave me confidence in myself and taught me the importance of hard work in achieving my goals.” Born in Armenia, he has lived in the United States for 17 years. In addition to coaching, he attends American River College.
